Each of these stories offers a warm Christmas romance with endearing characters. None of them are new;you may have read them before, closer to their original publication date. But I like to reread good stories, especially Christmas stories. They remind me of the Christmas I proposed to my wife, many decades ago. As in these stories, we are still very much in love after all these years.
Two of them are new to me. They introduced me to new characters, while the Robyn Carr story was a happy re-read about old friends from her Virgin River series. All three have good characters who are enticed by an immediate mutual attraction, preparing a reader for their rapid growth into a strong relationship.
I consider this compendium a keeper; I will look forward to reading it again next Christmas season.

I purchased this book for the story by Robyn Carr. Carr's story centered around 8 little puppies (10 days old) that have been dumped under a community Christmas tree in Virgin River. The local vet and a local beautician share the responsibilities of caring for the pups until they are 6 weeks old and can be adopted by various families in the community at Christmas time. The story also tells about the Christmas traditional celebrations of the vet's and beautician's families as well as their own personal romantic involvement.
This review is for the Virgin River novella only. Another sweet Christmas in Virgin River. Nate and Annie are adorable, sexy and full of the joy we come to love about Virgin River. This is entirely their story and it's fun to fall in love with them. I actually hope to see these two again in future books.
Great stories with lots of love, Surprises and action. Nothing much more to prove that love will continue to conquer all.
Personally, I love to read books where I feel as if I grow to know the characters. I read every book written about Virgin River and Grace Valley. Robyn Carr's characters make you believe in the goodness of people, again. They, also, treat you to living, in your mind, in an entirely different place. I wouldn't take anything in the world for my . If I finished a book and wasn't ready to sleep, yet, I ordered the next one. had the book to me in 30 seconds or less!
Three heartwarming Christmas stories to read in December or whenever you need a little holiday spirit. If you have read other books by these authors, you will not be disappointed. If you have not read other books by Robyn Carr, Debbie Macomber, and Sherryl Woods, you have a treat in store and will want to look into the Virgin River series, etc.
There are three stories by excellent authors centered around the Christmas holiday. All of the stories were wonderful, giving you that warm feeling!
I wish publishers were more up front about repurposing stories in anthologies like this. It ended up only the third story in this anthology was new. Thankfully I bought this on a huge discount so it didn't matter too much that I had already read Sheryl Woods story in So This Is Christmas. Macomber's was new to me despite being first published in the mid 90's. I totally adored Carr's new story so it was okay. But if I had paid full price for this title I would have been very upset.

Macomber's Silver Bells - 3.5 stars, not terribly unique, but a nice heartwarming read
Woods' The Perfect Holiday - 4 stars, I really liked this story so I did reread it, but I'm also docking it in the averaging of the titles because I had read it before
Carr's Under the Christmas Tree - 4 stars, I loved this story though it is awful hard to go wrong with puppies in the mix
