I do look forward to this series in spite of weakness in writing and editing. The dialogue between the lovers is often repetitive. There are still too many errors that could be caught by a decent proofreader. The relationship between the active supernaturals and their "believers" is odd. Are these supreme beings or not. Any reliable supreme being could have restored the balance of fertility. Are these beings engaged with their "followers" or just watching?Learning the world around Ynyr and Abby and their efforts to rebuild a shattered kingdom provide much of the fun. Just like the women in the previous novels, Abby has to step up as Ynyr's partner and a leader to his people. There is an unusual artifact that the two previous villains left in the castle that challenges both Abby and Ynyr. She has to reveal a past that may be too much for Ynyr to accept.
Although the elements of the ending are carefully placed in the earlier parts of the plot, the climax seems rushed and weak. Suddenly it ends with a brief scene that sets up the next novel.

Ynyr Tornians Book 4 edition by MK Eidem Romance eBooks Reviews
I didn't even have to think about the rating of this book.
Five Shining Stars!!!!!
This book has everything I want and look for in an erotic romance...It's a sci fi Cinderella story for adults...
Ynyr is the prince we ladies all conjure up in our fantasies...gorgeous, tall and muscular, strong, sensitive, noble...He is THE man you want protecting you and your honor. He is THE man you want under your blankets at night. I LOVE this man. A sensitive alpha (and an alpha he is, make no mistake). A Lord. A warrior.
I love that Abby is beautiful yet flawed inside with a sad history; I love watching her develop and coming into her own throughout the story, finding her voice--but oh, the love these two feel for each other!
The sex! So. HOT. So. SENSUAL.
I don't even know what else to write because this romance is just so perfect. You just have to take my word for it. This is a well-written, satisfying love story that you never want to see end. I wish this book had 800 pages--I could keep reading about these two.
I love Ynyr and Abby--I love the Tornian world created--the adventure, the intrigue...but I have to go back to the romance...*sigh*...Ynyr's devotion, his possessiveness, his need to protect Abby...the way everything she utters and all her feelings are so important to him. She is his world. It's so Romeo and Juliet without the sad ending.
*sigh*
Five STARS and nothing less.
Excellent series--can't wait for MORE!!!!! Auto-Buy for me!!!
My only complaint?? The story ended
Ok I guess. Nothing great. I have issues with plot points though. These Tornian males seem to lack any sort of compassion, understanding, decency until human women come along. For 500 years these males have basically turned their women into sex slave breeders and they seem surprised that the women hate them! Ynyr’s parents Oryon and Isis are supposed to be a weird couple having been together for 25 years and producing 4 sons when most women are forced to change partners after one or two kids and the woman is always forced to abandon their kids but it seems odd that not one male seems capable of understanding a woman may want to raise her child or even seems capable of understanding women have feelings.
Oryon supposedly lived Isis but would never even let her see her sons after they were weaned? Isis never even seemed able to leave her room. It’s lije these women in a Tornian society can’t even leave their gilded cages and make no mistake these women are all in cages! Trapped and used as sex slaves. But hey only human women were ever able to articulate to any male I don’t want to have multiple sex partners and hey ai don’t want to leave my children. These Tornian males aten’t Fit and worthy for the simple fact that they are so stupid until human women come along that that type of stupid is just not attractive.
Love the politics. This book was such a good read that I spent the night until I finished. The author gives us the inner workings of Tornian life by showing us Yrnr in his new role as a Lord of the former house of Bertos. The book is about growth, Abby's and Yrnr's. He's learning that life and having a female is more than about being worthy and who your family is and Abby is learning that she is VERY worthy. I love that despite being a milder heroine than Kim or Lisa, she still stands up for herself and gets Yrnr to listen and understand her points and ideas. Politics as usual have a play in this and we delve deeper into the history of how Tornians and Kazlians ended up in their positions of being cursed by the Goddess. Awesome addition to the series and the author leaves you with serious questions on what will happen to Ull as he deals with his youngest brother attaining power and recognition before him
